From the beginning of our quest for knowledge we have been gazing into the ski, wondering what was out there in the far reaches of space. We’ve always been watching the sky, many hoping to find some sign of intelligent life other than our own out in the cosmos, many attaching religious significance to natural wonders, many creating myths around the unexplained.

We’ve always been watching.

But the question here is: who is watching us? And are we sure we really want to know?

Sometimes I believe we're the unknowing and unwilling participant in some vast 'Smile! You're On Cosmic Candid Camera!'

I do believe in the other lifeforms living in our universe. I also believe that some if not many are highly intelligent beings. However, given the vastness of our universe, simply finding another planet with intelligent life (or life at all for that matter) appears to be like finding a needle in a haystack. Even lifeforms capable of travelling at near light speed would take billions of years to explore the universe.

In short, I think the probability of earth being watch by other life forms is quite small, yet not impossible.

ECHELON - a surveillance system which digitally downloads every single phone call and every email / fax. Housed in the UK - devised by the Americans who can't use it in the States because the constitution prohibits surveillance of private citizens. Outside the boundaries of the USA it is used by intelligence community of the USA on every world citizen - bar a couple of small Pacific Islands like Kiribati. Housed at Menwith Hill in the UK under GCHQ but staffed by American security services no one anywhere can have a private conversation which is not subject to surveillance. Because it is digitally downloaded there is no need for large warehousing facilities to keep this information indefinitely on hand.

So if and when we finally have totalitarian world government it will be possible through voice/word recognition on ECHELON to download any citizens' phone calls / emails over decades.

The aliens - if they are watching - are harmless look at ECHELON to see who is really watching you. Might be a military intelligence secret - but it is pretty much an open secret - every British Telecom engineer in the UK seems to have signed the Official Secrets Act and is well aware of this device - they have to know about it as they are working on the ground with it.

i believe , in every person's mind, there are 2 persons are staying. 1 is concious and 2nd one is sub-concious. I think, the sub-concious mind is always watching me. So that, if I am going to do something, that other one watches and permits me to do what i wanted.

Perhaps, no one. Why do we always assume that other civilizations are more advanced than us? Odds are that there may be some; odds also are that they are too distant, or, perhaps, too distracted with more interesting things, to make contact with us.
