I don't think girls always have to call guys first. I suppose it depends on if the girl is more interested in the guy then he is in her - and vice versa - that they'll call first. Might also be that the other fears rejection.

I think alot of girls call first because they are more interested than the guys are. I think when a guy is interested, he will make the first move.

Men have huge ego issues. they would feel less of a man if he made the first call. as women, we have to pick up the slack. we are the stronger creatures. thats why we have the honor of the child bearing. men are very simple and egotistical. that is the nature of things
