Are the new plugs gapped correctly and torqued to spec? Did you replace the distributor cap/rotor or check the coil packs for corrosion/damage? (You will have one or the other, I don't know offhand what Mazda uses) The wires could be going bad. Detailed information would help diagnosis.
I've wasted more time and money at dealerships than I've ever wasted doing it myself, then again I generally know what's wrong with my car, why it went wrong, and how to fix it.

Means some of the cylinder misfire. It's not necessarily bad spark plugs cause this - could be wires too or water inside the disributor cap or just bad air flow sensor or something else, like a vaccuum leak.

Use NGK spark plugs. Change the wires distributor cap and rotor if its equipt with that. That should take care of the misfire. If not then you are going to have a problem with the ECM.

means that one or more of the cylinders have misfired. Could be something as simple as dirt in the injector. Try putting some fuel injection cleaner in the gas tnak and run it for a while and then see if the code comes up again.

Take the vehicle to a Mazda dealer and have them diagnose it instead of wasting time & money in throwing parts at in an attempt to guess what the problem is. You will be money way ahead after they figure out what is wrong with it.
Good Luck

a misfire must be led to by a spark plug, cord, or coil. from time to time its only a fluke on those pcs. i propose resetting the computer code by making use of a test device or disconnecting the battery for 10 min. if the mild comes on back then that is between the above listed issues.
