Maybe a scavenger hunt of the memorable places you two have been. Choose local areas and maybe like 4 places and the last place with you at the door with the ring box. I've always hoped my hubby would have done this but his way was romantic too. He planned a bed and breakfast without telling me. Got the day off from my boss and I had no idea. He came down and surprised me. Said we were going to dinner but he took me to another city and proposed that night. It was very cute.

My husband got down on one knee. Let's work that into the picture, it is very romantic. Okay, do it in a public place with a lot of people around. Girls love for other people to notice her especially at a time like this. Find a nice restaurant, one that you would have your rehearsal dinnder at, and let the staff know what you are planning. Have the owner come over and say "Tell us the night you want to book, and we will make it available to you." Now you say, "You will have to ask the lady what night" . Your gf should say "For what?" or something like that at which time you get up go onto your knee beside her and say "For our rehearsal dinner, that is, of course, if you will marry me" Good luck and congratulations!

My husband gave me a note that said, "look on the mantle," after I found the note it lead me somewhere else. He used cute little cards that were different colors. Like a treasure hunt he followed me the whole way. After 5 notes I found the ring, he got down on his knee, explained how I changed his life and what I mean to him. Then he asked me. Of course, I said YES! I thought it was original and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Hot air balloon ride. People on the ground will ride ahead of where the balloon drifts. Then, in an open field, they will unfurl a banner that has her name on it followed by "Will you marry me?" Before they unfurl the banner, the balloon operator will distract you and her away from the banner will be. So as you approach, it will be a total surprise.
Beauty of that plan is that you can tell her the second half of the balloon ride is only for you and your fiancee. So if she says no, she has to hop out.

You know the slide advertisements they show before they start a movie. Make a deal with the manager of a movie theater and see if you can have 5-6 slides made up with pictures of both of you, and on the last 2 slides, write a short letter to her including your name, and on the last slide write " Will you marry me".

Make dinner, buy some champagne, then...drop it into a champagne glass, fill the glass with champagne, then tell her you really have something important to share with her, she will see it as she is drinking.
Do you have anyone you know that can have a billboard sign made in your town that she would see on the way to work and read???
Do not do it on a holiday....everyone does it on a holiday!!!!

A friend of mine just got engaged and her fiance made a video for her. He had her family and friends get on and say why they loved her and what a special person she was. Then he played the video at church during the service and then proposed. She loved it and it made her cry!

when my brother proposed to his wife he waited till Christmas but u can do it whenever like on ur annyiversary or just anytime but anyway he wrapped it and a box and put it in a bigger box and an even bigger box until the box was huge and then when she got to the ring and opened it he said will you marry me and he was on his knees and thats real romantic.. good luck and i hope she says yes and u guys have a very happy marriage...
