The Seven Natural Wonders of the World are majestic natural formations (or events) with an effort to place one on each continent, although they were apparently unable to find any in Europe.

Grand Canyon, USA, North America
Great Barrier Reef, Queensland, Australia
Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, South America
Mount Everest, Nepal, Asia
Northern Lights, Antartica
Paricutín volcano, Mexico, Central America
Victoria Falls, Zambia and Zimbabwe, Africa

If you were looking for a likely candidate in Europe, then two might be the White Cliffs of Dover, England, or Bosphoros, Turkey.

The original seven wonders of the world were all artificial structures. From that angle, the seven wonders of the modern day are - Pyramids of Egypt, Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal, Leaning Tower of Pisa (these four were there in the earlier list as well), Suez Canal, 'Chunnel' train beneath the English Channel and the Great Barrier Reef (not manmade though)
