This is our first year going to sturgis and i want to be prepared also i don't want to forget anything! ideas on what to bring and wear??

If you are planning on staying at sturgis.
pack light, just enough for three days, each person. remember less is more on a bike.
1.wear your leather gear,pack fowl weather gear, helmets,gloves.
2.Camping gear for two, if you have room.
3.water, first aid kit, bug spray.
4.Get a bikers friend bag(Lrg.size).
5.Take your time, be safe and have fun.

This is my 5th time so come prepared for any type of weather, esp. if camping. If it rains & you are at certain camp grounds it gets flooded & muddy. Stock up on vitamins, plenty of dough if you truly want to enjoy yourself & plan to have the time of your life! The world's best party ever totally!! If headed thru CO there is a group of 20 traveling on the a.m. of 8/5 so join us!!

CAMERA!!!!!!... and plenty of film or extra memory cards. I think I took about 500 or 600 pictures each of the two years I went. It is a bike show (and people show) eveyday. Bring plenty of money for the beer you can't carry on the bike. I think I most enjoyed my little fold-up stool. I always had something to sit on a the campground.

When you trailer your mc up , be sure to take your thong and one of them cool wraps, and a leather skuldana and sunscreen. Drink plenty of water and don't stay out too late. Have fun :-)
I'd take "gypsy g", too. I like her attitude.
