Yesterday when I came home my pc monitor was not working.
I lifted it and water fell out of it. Also when I cut on my 36 inch tv the picture wouldn't come on and I smelled a burning type of smell.
On me and my daughter(12yrs old) have keys.. she told me when she came home yesterday at twelve she saw water on the floor byt the computer and she cleaned it up. She said she didnt do it and she said she didnt know what happened to my tv.
Funny thing is that she spent the night at my friends house last night. My friend is envious of me and when I told her about it she acted nonchalant and some what guilty. When I said to her "I think someone made copies of my keys and came in here" she didnt even ask what I was talkin about. I was thinking that maybe she took my daughters keys while she was sleepin yesterday morning and sabatoged my stuff while I was at work and then brought them back while my daughter was sleepin.
I dont think its a coincidence that my monitor and Tv was broken.

Well your first instint about your so called friend is probably right.
That is if you totally trust your daughter..
I really think that i would distance my self from the woman you call your friend and if something else happens you will know what is going on.. If it happens again after that you may have to apologize to her .but i would trust the daughter, and change the locks on the door incase she made copys of it..
do what you think but i don't call that a friend..
Oh by the way and accident on the computer could be a kid afraid to say they did it but both the tv and computer. that was an intentional deal and no kid would do that ..they know they would get caught on that one. but some one else can just blame it on your daughter to stay out of trouble..
fingerprints maybe ..

First of all FRIENDS don't do things of this nature. Check to see if there just might be another source within your home that could have caused the problem If you still suspect her, then she really isn't a friend. However, if you consider her a friend, then you need to speak with her openly and honestly about your suspicions. Change the locks and then find some real friends

Your intuition almost always works. That guilty face is hard to hide. Change the locks and leave your kid with someone else. But you are definitely sure it wasn't your kid? Sometimes there's an "accident" and they're just too scared to confess. Make sure before you accuse.

Wow, that sucks! If I was you I would be having a harsh convo with your friend. If she was really your friend though, she wouldnt have trashed your stuff. Thats just f-ed up. If she doesnt fess up, i would def. be getting a new key. Well either way I would get a new key, but dont tell her that!!!
