Ok, this doesn't make much sense. A couple housand people have died in the war. Yes, that is quite sad, but this is war, and those people knew there would be risk when they signed up for the military. However, those few thousand people are nothing compared to the millions of unborn children who are killed every year because of abortion. Could you please explain to me why you get mad when someone in the War dies, someone who has already experienced some of the joy in life, yet you support the idea of abortion, where you rip away an unborn child's life, a child who has yet to experience any joy in life? I just don't get that. Liberals seem to contradict themselves alot.....

Liberals have no set morals, they can just make it up as they go along, and it doesn't even have to make sense! That is the joy of being a liberal, you are always right, even if you are dead wrong.

Why does everyone seem to think that only adult soldiers are dying in this war? Babies are dying, too. I think that if you are going to call yourself pro-life, and be against abortion, you should also be against the killing of innocent babies that are already separated from the womb (say what you want about the parents- an infant is still just as innocent as an unborn) . THAT is a double standard.

I am not a liberal, but you need to keep in mind that most do not agree that a fetus is a baby. So they are not holding a double standard. If anything, you should be taking issue with that belief.

I think that neither abortion or war is desirable, but you can't justify one and not the other, or be opposed to one and not the other. If you do than you weaken your own credibility, and are contradicting yourself.

there is no 4th trimester. on a similar time as i do no longer help abortion interior the third thrimester (different than in situations of harm to the mum's wellness), i think of this is merely sickening that any one is bringing political propaganda into church homes. And, as an self sustaining, i do no longer think that liberals hate usa. How does abortion coach that they hate usa. professional-existence, even however this is the moral determination, isn't written into the Constution. And we're not a Christian united states. locate a distinctive church. one that would not of course help one occasion or the different.

The opposition to war from within a society or nation comes only if the purpose looks dubious. In case of abortion, you just can't blame any such mindlessness. Ask the women who have to undertake the pain of undesired pregnancies (including the minors 13 and 14 years of age). There is no bigger a crime on earth than forcing them to have undesired children just for the sake of one's orthodox belief.

I'm no so-called liberal though. Just speaking about a sensible approach here.

You are so right and that is so sad.

Kris says:
Why are Right Wing Christian Coalition Conservatives against abortion and for the death penalty?

Well Kris,
Someone receiving the death penalty would have done something so heinous that they should be dead. They have actually committed a crime against humanity.

What crime has an unborn child committed?

A ball of cells is NOT a person, i am pro-choice however i do believe abortion should NOT be used as a means of birth control. and conservatives make just as little sense being anti-abortion and pro-death penalty.

I am a pro-life liberal, and unlike many of my pro-life counterparts on the conservative side, I believe "life" means conception until death, not conception until birth. Every life is sacred; in utero, in the military, in Lebanon, or in the 7th ward in New Orleans.

I can't stand those who preach about the "sanctity of life" but refuse to condemn genocide, collective punishment, and torture.

probably because the principle arguement about abortion is whether or not the fetus is in fact a person. If you are pro-choice, the fetus is not a person. so there isn't any hypocracy in that view, just the typical ignorance of those who think Fox news is really a news channel

Funny, because most conservatives contradict themselves too yet you didn't mention that. And not every liberal agrees with abortion.
