if hitler asked u to electrocute a stranger, would you? probably

i understand about the obedience part that was mentioned but im unable to explain it in words.

my question is how would u explain this title it has to do with sociology ......... and about obedience and thats all i can explain......... i figured people in this area would know more than in homework help or higher education.......

No I would not electrocute anyone regardless of who asked. I do not understand what your point is anyway...Jeez...

First, sociology IS part of higher education.

Second, you need to sit and think before you start writing. Your question is such a mishmash of words that it's nearly impossible to tell what information you want.

Third, I'm sure that your homework assignment was not worded in the way that you've represented it.

If you're looking for a title, try something to do with "Obedience and Authority."

If you're looking for a reference, look in ANY social psychology textbook for an experiment done by Solomon Asch. Try the index in the back of the book.

If you're wondering how most people would react in this situation, Roger Brown ("Social Psychology") explains different circumstances and how subjects react -- using Asch's "electrocution" experiment.

The rest is up to you. I don't do people's homework for them. But, I will point them in the right direction.
