It's a shame that a doctor would give wrong information, that is if that person it truely a doctor. Testosterone does not create nor promote hair loss. Hair loss is caused by DHT that binds to the hair folicle and causes it to die. DHT is produce from testosterone that is in the body that is not burned up by exercise. Also, how your body reaacts to the DHT determines if you will lose hair. Those with the male patterned baldness gene are more likely to lose hair from too much DHT.

There are many herbal supplements that can help the body create more testosterone, without any side effects. The trick is finding the right one that works for your body. Here is a list of some that do work:

You can't get it over the counter. You have to have a prescription from a doctor. If you really have low testosterone for your age, the doctor will prescribe it for you. It won't give you more hair if your inherited hair pattern is to have little hair. However, if you really have low testosterone levels, it will help your natural hair pattern increase. Since you have low levels of energy, it wouldn't hurt to get a physical because you may have something serious going on.

Testosterone is a prescription item. Energy on the other hand, comes from many sources, mostly from food and exercise (endurance). Hair growth is mostly genetic. Yes, there are products; but, if they work, they are not permanent.

Testosterone leads to hair loss, NOT hair growth on the head. It will make other parts of you hairy though.
You have to have a perscription, so don't buy it on the street - you are probably buying a fake...... it can be very dangerous.
