She always asks me if i wanna go places with her. I dont. I always have to make up things. How do i say no in a nice way? She always calls me and doesnt even ask if i wanna go. And i hate saying no i cant because im doing something because then she'll ask if i cud do it after or what im doing. How do i get her to stop?? im going insane!

im a girl... uh.. she's obviously a girl too. uh.. in texas... uh... its real hard to say no because then she's all sad and makes me feel bad. shes a good friend at times but then if your not there she'll make fun of u. she ll stick up for dorks and losers when they are there. but when there not she'll make fun of them. and shes a poser. sometimes she can be cool but most of the time she's annoying

Sounds like you and I had the exact same friend. Add details and tell me if you are from Eugene Oregon. What I did, and believe me I tried EVERYTHING, was that when she asked me what I was doing, I just said, "Some stuff I didn't want to talk about right now"... But she would be persistant of course and finally I had to stop answering the phone... She is VERY manipulative as if your doing your own thing, she will make you feel guilty for not wanting to hang out with her....

So this is what you do. Call her up and tell her that you think she's a great person and for her not to get you wrong or anything. Then you tell her that you like how she considers you in her daily activities and that it means a lot to you but that you're having a tough time keeping up with all of the things she wants you to do and that you have to do things yourself. Tell her like one day every two weeks when you can chill and go to the movies or what ever. Take into consideration that she might like you too if she calling you to do so many things. It could be her way of saying she likes spending time with you. Find out if she likes you first. If she does then you have another problem but if she doesn't than just call her up and tell her all that stuff I put at the top.

What I have done many times in the past is just tell them that you feel like setting home and watching a tv show. Maybe some other time. If they tell you they will come over and watch it with you and after you can go. Ask them if they ever just wanted to have a quiet time alone? If they say no then her she should try it because she might like it.
I got to where I would not even answer my phone. And had to get to the point of saying no I don't want to.
It is nice to have freinds but a person needs their own time.
You just have to let it be known and I'm sure they will just find someone else to push in to doing things and you will be left out. But that is not such a bad thing. I like it because I can go visit who I want to then and don't have to get an ok from an overbearing freind. It is your life you should live it. not live hers.

Sounds like she is trying to manipulate your friendship with her and invade your space. You have every right to say no, I don't want to do anything with you right now, tomorrow, or next week for that fact, if it suits you. It's a little extreme, but sometimes that's just how you feel when a person is so intrusive as she is being.
Set some ground rules with her so you can be able to breath without always having her around. Let her know that sometimes you are doing nothing and you just don't want to do anything because that is just what you feel like right now and to please accept this and that don't be offended but this is just how you feel and she just has to realize it. You should be able to do what you want to, when you want to, and if you want to, at anytime you want to without any one thinking the difference especially her in this case.
Doesn't she have other friends that she can be with?

I use to be the same way until i started to see that people were just walkin all ova me...even my friends....just open your mouth and say no!!!! I know its hard and your not gonna just be able to do it just because we say you should but you should really do it because being toooo nice is always a bad thing!
