Wow - and here's a question for you, Mr Asker of Intelligent ?s.

If medical science could create this 'modern' cave-man kid thru insemination,

would YOU ??? carry-deliver-love-accept . . . 'it' ?
For free or money??? How much???

You realize that you'd be helping 'science' in more ways than one?

FIRST MALE WOMB Experiment - priceless. . .

"Cavemen" are exactly the same as modern humans, so there would be no point in this. It is only culture and technology that is different, not genes and ability.

Maybe you are thinking of Neanderthals. But they are a whole different species, as in genes too different to "take." Or so they say. I think they're wrong, as you can cross a bison with a cow and get a "beefalo." So maybe they aren't too different to crossbreed with us.

But still there would be no point, as the result would not be scientifically valuable. More to the scientific point would be a situation where they found Neanderthal genes complete enough to create a 100% Neanderthal embryo and implant it into a human mother, so as to get a total Neanderthal. That would be spectacular. And immoral and unethical. And very, very hard on the Neanderthal, and sad for him

Hmmmm....depends how much money they were offering. Hell, you just have to carry a child for 9 mo's....it's still human just a little bit on the primitive side. It's not like you're asking me.....Would you be inseminated with a....oh hell I don't know.....a bulls sperm to see if we can create a Minotaur. Then I think I would pass on that one.......

I would, but only to see if neandertals are actually a different species or not. The definition of a species are 2 animals that can interbreed and produce viable(fertile) offspring. It would shut up the anthropologists once and for all , and settle the "out of africa" vs. "multi-regional" hypotheses.

That said, it would have to be a MASSIVE ammount of money!

No. I would not do such an evil thing to a child, particularly since I know that child would never be treated with any respect or love. He or she would always be an "it", a science experiment. I've seen enough hybrids in the canine family to know that these things never end well for the participants.
