I can't Stand you Non-Procrastinators! Whatever happened to the good-old tradition of waiting till the last minute, then having your kids do it for you?

Can't shop now. Everybody wants their gifts to come with receipts that are dated after Thanksgiving, just so they can have the peace of mind, knowing that they can return it. At least that's what they say, they don't want to hurt my feelings.

In this decade I do theme gifts, like night-at-the-movies = New DVD, movie-candies, video-rental gift card in a microwaveable popcorn tub. 99 cent & dollar stores have some great fillers and creative containers too. Then there is spa party in a foot-spa, all those things to pamper yourself. And Italian dinner in a basket; Wine, recipes, Italian condiments, pizza cutter, etc. For overseas friends, there's a slice-of-home in a box, those favorite foods that are only sold locally plus a home-made recipe book of their favorite foods that they are missing out on (like grandma's fudge). Making it fun pays off, they can't return it.

Yep. QVC has been having their Christmas in July running all day today. Go to www.qvc.com and click on the 24 Hour Product Review to check out the products from each of the segments.

I was going to ask if you lived on maui... theres a place they have Christmas in July. It's fun. Santa, tree and everything. I was only there for one year of it, but my family lives there and really gets into it sometimes... So merry Christmas to all the July celebrators.

Yep, I get everything online, so I start early.

Trying to get something by Christmas that was ordered in December is risky.
