No, only in public buildings, hospitals etc. Oh, I live in Greece and considering that almost the 90% of the population here are smokers, it would be difficult to ban it from restaurants and bars. Why not come to sunny Greece?

BC, Canada. It's been banned in workplaces and restaurants here for quite a few years. It was banned in bars at the same time but there was such an uproar about it that now only about half the bars/pubs are non-smoking.
ANY place that children go should NOT have smoking. No exceptions!!

Yes, I live in Georgia, and smoking in restaurants is banned in Fulton County at least. Not sure of the surrounding counties.

It's up to bars (or restaurants with bars) if they want to allow smoking. For the regular restaurants, none is allowed.

California - no smoking inside restaurants, bars, public buildings, offices with more than a certain number of employees, etc.

Smoking is banned on many beaches as well.

Ohio - only in some places. It's still allowed in most bars and restaurants. However, quite a few restaurants around here (mostly fast food) are smoke free.

Yeah, I live in L.A., it's against the law to smoke on the beach! The beach! That's like the worlds biggest ashcan and they don't allow smoking. I've never been a smoker, but that seems outrageously ridiculous to me.

Chicago. Yes, except for bars that don't serve food. 25 feet from an entryway. I'm a smoker, but I really don't like it indoors. Oh and hookah bars have an exception too, but I don't know if it's tobacco in those things...
