It's reasonable to expect privacy in your own room and it sounds like a scary situation to suddenly wake up in a vulnerable position with a stranger staring at you. It's rude of your cousin's friends to think that they can just enter someone else's bedroom without permission but if it can't be helped, perhaps you should lock the door. Otherwise, you need to bring it up with your family that your privacy should be respected, especially in cases like this.
To be paranoid, if your cousin's friend lacked any morality at all, you could have conceivably been raped in your own home. It's not good at all to not feel safe in your house and this is why etiquette for guests and hosts exist-- so that there is no such abuse of hospitality. So, yes, I believe you should be able to sleep in whatever you want to sleep in without the fear of someone randomly coming into your room. It's probably prudent to get a lock on your bedroom door and to use it when you sleep just to be safe.

yeah, go all out and sleep naked, i did it once, it feels good, but make sure your door is locked, and i think the reason why privacy is so hard to come by in your own room is that when your door is closed it puts out a sence of you're doing something unusual and they want to know what. put a sign on your door that says knock first.

You need a lock on your door and who let your cousin's friend in your house anyway? Whoever let them in should be more careful. You should be able to wear whatever you want, but you should also obey your parents so that's a tough one.

Ask your parents to install a lock on your door, if you really care about privacy. If you have a door stopper just back that up against the door.

Maybe you can lock your door. That way, you'll force them to knock before...it's common courtesy
