Have you used this type of fuel (85% ethanol, 15% gasoline). Is it readily available in your area, and what is your opinion...do you feel it is a good alternative to traditional gasoline?
Also, what type of car do you have if you use this?

We don't have it in our area yet, however there is a big push for it. I don't think right now it's ready for prime time, but it is a good alternative. It's like gas was way back when. Once it's refined to the point gas today is, there will be something else better, and that's a good thing.

I like the cars where what ever you stick in them works. We need more of those, then we can fill what ever we want in it.

Not available in my area and will not make a dent in the U.S. need for oil.....will just drive up the cost of corn products - everything from cereal to canned corn. New Ford and GM vehicles can run on E85. My prediction is within 2 years it will be the same price as regular gasoline because the price of corn keeps going up

I agree with bobsled. Prices already going up because of ethanol shortages. Cost of corn at road side stands $4 a dozen this year. $3 a dozen last year. Ethanol would cost even more if it wasn't heavily subsidized by the government.
