inverted triangle (think of a triangle standing on its point)...i have the same body type! you should wear tops that accentuate your bust, like v-necks or something similar. Avoid tops that are too long and tight (like a lot of the longer t-shirts made now) since it will make you look straight. Definitely go for the loose top and tighter bottom look (like a loose blouse and skinny jeans or leggings) with heels. You shouldn't wear tops that cut straight across your body (like a tube top) cuz it will make your body look wider where it hits (if you are already wider on the top then in your hips, it will make it look even more top-heavy) A lot of woven shirts (that button up) look good cuz they are more structured then a knit (like a sweater or t-shirt type of material) but make sure the buttons can fasten without pulling at the bust ( a big problem for girls that have boobs) you can wear full skirts (like a circle skirt that has been in style for a couple years now) since it will balance your lower body. start with those rules and ask me if you need help with anything else!

I feel you, hun. I'm a girls 16/womens 0 with a short torso and BIG on top, I've found that the best thing to do to work with that is to wear really low rise jeans and long and lean tops. The bigger on top you are, the shorter your torso will appear so you want to wear things that will elongate your body. As far as color, you can get away with just about anything, but if you want to hide some of the size on top, you may want to stray way from white, yellow, and horizontal stripes.

im really busty at the top as well. try to aviod solid colors that shows you true shape. try patterns like shirts w/ logos or flowers, horizontal, vertical, or a solid blck shirt. Black automactically makes you look slimmer and makes you look fuller in places you need to look fuller in.-
