How do you get the smell of vomit out of a car? I had a friend have one too many and get sick in my car. It is all cleaned out, but the smell is just lingering. Any suggestions? Again, I apologize this is pretty disgusting!

Here's is an old truckers trick.

Dump fresh coffee in the floor or several cake pans or Cookie sheets. Lay these sheets in the floor and seat of the car.

Shut the car up for a day or so. Then clean up the coffee. A three pound can will remove any odor from a 45' trailer. I have used this trick in cars as well.

Have your auto professionally cleaned as stated above at an automotive detailer's shop.

Then call around to some carpet cleaning places that advertise Ozone treatment for cars. This treatment really does work, speaking from first hand knowledge, it will eliminate ANY odor from your car.

Good luck!

Febreze everything! Or, you can pour some vinegar into a shallow bowl/plate and leave that in the car overnight - it should absorb the odors. The vinegar smell will go away.

"...You need a priest to get that smell out of the car, I'm telling you it's the beast..."
From Seinfeld series. His car smelled b.o.
Oh boy so funny....

Back to your problem now, ask a professional.
