I think all of the problems are fixable. However, new problems are always popping up. You fix one, but another one will pop up somewhere else. So yes. They are fixable. But there will always be more.

It takes decades for the Human race to progress... so think they are can be fixed but it's gonna take a long, long long time - Diplomatically speaking
War on the other hand is the fastest way to get things done... but not as responsible.
