The reason I ask is that I got a phone call from my best pal saying that he and his wife are splitting up after 6 years being married to each other.
He caught his wife on the job with another man, after getting back from work earlier than expected, one day last week.
All hell broke loose (naturally).
As his bride 's maid at his wedding, I would have said that they were the ideal couple but obviously something went radically wrong.
To see their marriage ending this way is terrible.
Bitterness, anger, resentment.
This is the first time that I have seen a marriage implode within my own circle of family/relatives/friends.
The fallout is terrible.

The fallout can indeed be terrible, even tragic. In some instances, the relationship would be irreparably damaged by this.

I've seen instances of relationships surviving trauma like this, and I've seen instances of relationships ending forever. It's impossible for us to judge whether these decisions were right or wrong. People and relationships are too complex for there to always be one optimal course of action for the couple.

I would hope they would see a marriage counselor to help them sort out their feelings and decide on what is best for them. And you can help your friend by being there for her....not to gossip, or just to lampoon the guy, but to give her the chance to express herself and provide the priceless support I wish so badly I had during MY latest breakup. It would make a world of difference.

So do what good friends should do, invite her over for tea or a long walk, and support her in whatever decision she chooses to make. I wish you both well.

Yes, I have cheated on my wife before. You see, there was this girl that I had liked for a long time. She is not only beautiful but has a wonderful body that all my friends talked about and wanted to have. She always managed to turn me on until I decided to ask her out. I didn't get cought but word did get out and so we decided to stop. Every now and then I see her.

No never cheated, never will. With ex I even have fantasized approximately it as he of course did no longer love me yet my ethics stopped me ever having it extra effective than a delusion. i exchange into stated questioning do no longer do yet another what you do no longer choose all and varied to do to you

I have not ever cheated on any of my past relationships.
I look at it this way, I would want it done to me so I am not going to do it to anyone else. So what goes around comes around.

i have, and he only knows because i told him. i could not live with the guilt and betrayal any longer. this was 10 years ago and we are much better now.

Cheating was one of the biggest mistakes of my life, and i would never do it again.
