First of all right now cops can't just "scan a room" and tell if anyones hiding in a crowd. Second of all their are far more good things that can come of it then bad. Lastly, we have been using this technology on ur pets for some time now.

There are obviously a lot of good things, but I do not like the idea of being able to be "scanned" like a can of soup at the grocery store for someone to know things about me. You know that after awhile people will find a way to hack into them and use your info for bad or change your info to get you in trouble, the possibilities are endless. I don't want one, and I won't get one. No matter what!

It's sick and don't let anyone tell you different. They want to eventually do away with cash....and "chip" everybody. Forget it.
There's nothing like good ol' hard earned cash in your pocket.
The chip is just another way for the government to take away more of our rights, eaves drop on us, and control us.
So the FDA can take their chip and implant it where the sun don't shine brother......here's an idea....
If they think the chip is such a good idea, then why don't we pass a law that will force all government employees and all political parties to have a "chip implant."
That way "WE THE PEOPLE" can keep track of their asses!
Yea! God bless America!

i don't think it's inherently BAD. it is kinda scary though. i somewhat enjoy the idea of someone still getting away with the "perfect crime". our society has a very romantic view of gangsters and crime bosses and other criminals and i embrace that idea however wrong it may be. i hate the idea of the government knowing where we are at all moments and this seems like it's a big step in that direction. at the very least we won't have any more godfather type movies cause we won't have material to base the stories on. oh well.

Wow, I thought you had an intelligent question, and I was going to respond that chip implants could help the disabled immensely. However, it sounds like you are suggesting a game of "Tag the Liberals". How about after that, you send us all to a "work camp" where we can pay for our "sins"?

It is great they approved that. But, what happened to Freedom? It is a great idea for prisoners. I think once in jail or prison they should tag you for life. It would make it easier to tag your position, save tax payers money for long searches... That is the only case. I do not believe that citizens that do not get into trouble should be subject to this.
