Very bad!!!!!!!!!!!!
This can cause you to become anemic(low blood iron).
There is a questionnaire to fill out before giving blood and "Are you pregnant?" is one of the questions. A yes answer to this question and they will tell you, you don't qualify to give blood at this time. Sorry!!!!!!!

Pregnant women should not donate blood.
You CAN donate while you are breastfeeding. Wait at least 6 weeks after the birth.

I dont think most places would LET you donate blood when pregnant. Call your doctor or the blood bank. I'm sure there are guidelines in place that will answer your question.

If you go in to donate, one of the qualification questions that they will ask you is if you are pregnant. Your energy is going towards nourishing your new baby right now, so you should not donate blood when you are pregnant.

i dont think your alloud to donate blood if your pregnant....i was going to donate blood to cleveland metro when i was 3 months pregnant bc i have o negative blood and they were in a severe shortage of it but they wouldnt let me bc i told them i was pregnant. ask your doctor about it though

You don't have it to give !! Your body is working overtime to feed and nourish your baby.. It doesn't have the energy to rebuild your blood supply . The blood bank should turn you down anyway. Good luck and it is great of you offer though.

Why would you want to? Wait until you've had the baby AND stop nursing before you do. I don't think the world needs your blood THAT bad!

I wouldn't suggest it, but if you really want to be sure, ask your doctor or the nurse where you want to donate. They may not let you, even if you want to.
