I was working in constuction, whin my safty lanyard was intentionally unhooked by some one who didnt even work whith me as i was 100 feet in the air and i was balanced on a 4 inch beam.Luckily i didnt fall at the time, and im ok.But whin i reported this to supervsion, it was pass off, as is would have delayed the construction and may have gotten the person responsable fired.I was so upset at the total disregard for my safty, and now the cover up of the afair, that i quit my job.
And now i need to know who to talk to ,or how to take action? Thanks

You should have stayed on the job and filed PAPER (ie: a trail) of greivances about the company. By quitting, you put yourself into the position of having little evidence and little access to evidence. I would suggest contacting OSHA regarding this and providing as much evidence as you can. OSHA has "whistleblower" laws that would have (in theory) protected you if you had stayed on the job. Good luck.

Sorry you loose.

Quiting your job terminates all chance of action or help.

Try going to the office and apologizing and ask for the job back.

Then once your back on the job a few days go to your local Redpublican Representative and ask for help.

Only Redpublicans can help you they want your vote and will help you get the guy that unhooked your safety line. Revenge is what Redpublicans specialize in.

Good Luck

Call OSHA, especially since you quit and have no fear of reprisal from your employer. It should be in the blue pages under employment in the state listings. The fines are pretty hefty if negligence is proven.
