Perfume is a chemical scent that is designed to produce a pleasing aroma overpowering anything else.
A deoderant is a chemical add-on that will help to cover up and eliminate odors. It's goal is to deoderize. Perfumes are strictly to cover up and overpower.
Look at www.approachit.net and you can learn a bit about odor. That's an odor eliminator so it doesn't cover up, it just removes. It'll help ya learn the diff.

firstly i want to tll u that perfume is kind of fragrant liquid that is applied on the costumes or apearel worn by u.
while the deo is applied on to ur body it self.
2. the perfume possese a high content of the fragarant and it is more concentrated than the deo.
3. the perfumes r packed in attractive botteles while the deos r not sold in attractin bottels at all.
4. the % of alcohal in the perfume is mainly 10% while in a deo it is merely 5-6% all.
5.there is a like bet the 2 that is both r inflamable.

As far as I know, both perfumes and deodorants are used to prevent our foul body odor especially when we sweat. But perfumes are used on the clothes we wear while deodorants are used directly on our body in areas like armpits where sweat accumulates more. So the smell of a deodorant remains even when our clothes are not on.

Deoderant removes odors and prevents them from reoccuring. Perfume just covers the smell up with a different scent

deodarant keeps you from smelling and reduces wetness under your arms and perfume is for making your whole body smell good

perfume gives sweet and scented smell and imparts fragrance
to the wearer and the surrondings whereas deoderant is very harsh smelling concotion trying to remove bad oder from surroundings like a room a car bathroom etc it is sprayed or rubbed under armpits for removal of bad oder. perfume is delicate and deoderant harsh.

Perfume masks the body's natural odor and deodorant covers up the odor of the underarm (Arm&Hammer brand deodorant actually neutralizes underarm odor).

Perfume is to smell nice (assumes clean).
Deodorant is supposed to mask perspiration with a scent.
Subtle difference..eh?
Anti-perspirant is something to prevent underarm perspiration and it's accompanying odor. Deodorant does not prevent anything.
