I've had several lives that I have inklings of, and very vivid memories of my most recent life, which were born with me. Most of us have been around before, but in the majority of cases it's not important to remember. Reincarnation is a natural law whether you believe in it or not or are cognizant of it or not. Few people are aware of the fact that the soul is much, much more complex than just this one lifetime. Until they can glimpse the soul's eternity and its connection to the true God, their view of the world is through a foggy dreamscape.

i am reserving judgement on that one. i have always felt it was a possibility (after all, in nature nothing in lost, nothing is gained, everything is transformed, right?). when you die, the body is recicled, so why not the rest of us, the part of us that is the spark of llife, the personality, what most people call the soul?
but i have taken the possibility far more seriously since i had this dream which i can only describe as a past life dream. i saw a young man, in uniform, on a horse, overlooking a battle field he was about to lead men into. as i watched him, there dawned a feeling of recognition. i knew that was me.
you know how when you meet someone after a very long time you have a tendency to bring up all you remember about them? you'll say... hey, i know you, you were in my english class in highschool. our teacher was miss smith, we went to disneyland together and you always used to crack you nuckles and you hated peanuts... that sort of thing. in my dream, my own conciousness did the same thing. i could feel myself think.. i know you. you're me. my name is X, i was born not far from here and went to school at this place, and these people are my family, and i know why i am about to go into battle. for a moment, i knew everything about this man in my dream. it was like looking in a mirror.
i still don't know if i believe it, but certainly won't discard the possibility. and if reincarnation is real, then sometime in the past i was a man, an officer who died in battle somewhere.

Yes! The reason for me believing in reincarnation is: I believe you live through Hell to get to Heaven. My reason for this theory is they say Hell is below and Heaven is above, yet when you pass they barrie your body six foot under ground. Why would anyone want to barrie a human body under ground if Hell is below us. So I believe it you passed before your time you will come back as someone or thing else!

Reincarnation is pointless.
Unless I can tap memories and experience from my previous lives reincarnation is the same as death.
Once I die, and even if I reincarnate as 'something' or 'someone' else, all my life experience, memory, joy, relationships, etc are over.
You die... and its game over.

Yes and no.It is the only non-theistic explanation of consciousness but on a deeper analysis it is not consistent with logic

I HALF BELIEVE IN IT AND HALF DON'T. SOMETIMES I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE PAST LIVES. BUT IF WE DO THAN WHY ARE THERE GHOST LINGERING AROUND EARTH. WHY DON'T THEY REINCARNATE. SO I DON'T KNOW IF I REALLY BELIEVE IN IT. ^_^
