mmm, I like harry potter books of course, that is what got into reading)) but I like Patrick Carman's "The land of ellyon" it has three books in it's series, they are only like 275 pages... though. But he is so good in his writing and imagination. Brooke.

I like a lot of books and so picking a favorite I would go with one that I enjoy reading more than once which is The Moon Spinners by Mary Stewart. I have read this book several times. I always enjoyed the story line about a girl who meets a man and helps to find the thief that got away with the actual job. I also enjoy the movie version which kept some elements of the story, but had some changes, which may be why I kept the book and re-read it so often.

The Pentagons New Map: A world worth creating. By Thomas Barnett; This book is about what the world needs to focus on in the coming decades, that is far from what the america of now has planned. From transnational terrorist removal to how china, india and iran will work the chessboard in the future.

Firstly, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan, I think that series is just incredible! However, my all time favorite book is The Giver, by Lois Lowry, such an incredible story...it's classified as a children's book, but when you read it and really analyze the material, it's simply amazing and I really don't think it should be a children's book at all.

Gone With The Wind by Margaret Mitchell. I love history, especially studies about the Civil War and there is that touch of romance in this novel. I love the book.

At the moment it's the book I'm reading "Land of the Burnt Thigh" by Edith Eudora Kohl, I like it because it tells of the life of these two sisters who went west and it's a true story too. The author is one of the sisters. I reccomend you read it.

The Stranger (=l'etranger I'm not sure if I got the translation right), by Albert Camus. It deals with many of the human/philosophic inner issues in a very smart and real way. And, it's brilliantly written.

The Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club was the first book that came to mind, but it's not my all time favorite.... but it is very funny.
I would have to say Broken for You by Stephanie Kallos.
