I got my ear cartilage pierced 6 weeks ago. I wanted to be different and got both ears done and it was done with a gun. I now know after looking that the gun was a no no but it's to late now. It didn't hurt at all to get it done and they are not infected or red, just tender. Everything that bumps them hurts and they sometimes wake me up at night when I roll over on them. Both my lobes are done 3 times with a gun and I never had this problem. They were only a tad sore for a couple days or a week at most so I wasn't expecting it to be this big of a pain in the butt. I like the way they look and my husband says they look erotic and sexy so I don't want to take either of them out. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it or am I just stuck this way till they decide to heel up? Anything anyone know of to make them heal faster?

No, this is completely normal. Everybody's ear heals at completely different times. My friend got her cartilage pierced more than a year ago, and today if she bumps it, it still hurts.
For my birthday, my mom pierced my ear and that was around a month and a half ago. It hurts if I bump it, but not as much as it did when I got it pierced. Just remember, it's completely normal.

-Good luck!

Your cartilage is definately a piercing that is going to be sore for a while. Everything you said in 100 % normal. Mine took a couple months as well. Good Luck!!!

I've had mine for two months now, and, since about the past week or two, it's finally stopped bugging me every time I bump it. Now it only hurts when I brush my hair and catch the brush on it, or when someone in my family treats me like a jungle gym/bean bag (husband/kids) and accidentally squishes my ear.

Just give it another week or two, and it won't be so easily aggrivated.
