I just noticed that my inner lymph node on my right side of neck has been enlarged. (not the other side or anywhere else.) I also sometimes get light pain in my inner ear and lower jaw line. Now I am getting my wisdom teeth out this Friday and my tooth on my jaw line is trying to come in without any room. Is it possible that the pain in my jaw is cause from that? If so, why is my lymph node enlarged and should I be concerned? I also have been having extreme allergies for the past few days, could this have helped with the enlarging of the node?

I would of said the same things as these other people did a year ago. My mother went to the doctor a year ago exactly . She had been having swollen lymph nodes under her arm for quite awile. No one really seamed concerned in the past. It would come and go just like a million other people say on here no big deal right. WRONG it ended up she had stage four brain cancer. She was diagnosed oct. 09 and died aug 10 she lived 10 months. She wasn't even 50 yet. The sad thing was it started elsewhere in her body probably years ago and spread everywhere. She should of persisted the doc do more tests or got a new one. Who cares if the doctor thinks your overacting I think he's under reacting.Your the one with the lumps tell him what you want done and if he doesn't agree get a new Doc!!!

the lymph system filters out infection and stores it in the lymph nodes until the infection clears.Your lymph node could be swollen because of an inner ear infection or the tooth could be slightly infected.Yes the pain could be from the tooth trying to erupt through a crowded gum.Mention the lymph node to your dentist and hopefully he can give you a course of antibiotics.

Yes I would say it is caused by the wisdom tooth, i bet it goes away after you have them removed.
