I have some 1mg xanax (Pharmacia & Upjohn) from a distant country. The pills are purple, and they aren't all facing the same way (some read u90 on the viewable side.) Are these bootleg?

Medicine manufactured by reputable companies are all very consistent.
Pharmacies usually buy from the lowest bidder. Theyre susceptible to buying fakes too without knowing it. The best idea is to go to a major chain pharmacy to get popular medicine because there are a lot of fakes.

Mine are peach for the 1mg and white for the half. You can look online for photos, but I think yours may be bootleg or maybe a generic not regularly seen here.

different manufacturers make their pills differently.
Pharmacia & Upjohn produces the generic form of Xanax you are speaking of.
1 mg: Each lavender, single score tablet, embossed "Upjohn 90", contains: alprazolam 1 mg (1 000 µg). Nonmedicinal ingredients: cornstarch, docusate sodium, erythrosin sodium, FD&C Blue #2, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose and silicon dioxide. Gluten-free. Bottles of 100.

Check with the company you go through to get your med. Places like Canada drug claim to use only reputable companies.

I would never take a medication from a pharmacy outside the U.S. Throw them away

Well, mine look nothing like that and mine say Xanax right on them.
