Your local public or university library should have a practice guide for the GMAT. It may or may not be a older edition but it will prepare you for it.

http://www.kaplan.com
Take Kaplan's prep course and
boost your test score

and http://www.princetonreview.com helps you study for the GMAT.

Best wishes!

Depends on you. If you're a good test taker, with a good track record of success on standardized tests, then you can probably just buy some material and get a high score. You should definitely get the Official Guides since they have the most recent real questions. I studied from the OG, and for the harder questions, Manhattan Review's study books. The questions in there are a lot more difficult than in the OG or Kaplan's books (which I also had).

Things you should keep in mind is to pace yourself, since the test is scored according to the number of questions you get right and their difficulty level, be sure to get the first few right since they set the bar. Also, if you dont' finish, you definitely will get a MUCh lower score so that's why it's important to keep in mind the time.

You can also take some courses. There's online ones, in person ones, big classes, small classes, private tutoring, it all depends on what you need. I personally took Manhattan Review, as I said, and they were really good. PR and Kaplan have larger classes from what I hear, though I don't think Kaplan is that great. There's also other prep companies that you might want to look into.

Good luck buddy!
