They're both geniuses. How can you compare the two? The musical styles are so different.

That's a good question. I'm guessing no from this quote from the website listed below:

"...But it is with "Agharta" that we get as fans the most explicit understanding of what might have happened if Miles Davis and Jimi Hendrix had gone into the studio together."

I'm certainly no discographic expert, so perhaps there is some recording out there like that.

Youre question isnt who is better but if they collaborated?

They WERE supposed to collaborate to make something that was to be called "Black Gold" Alan Douglas was to produce it.

On the night that the first talks and or jams were going to happen Miles called Alan Douglas and asked for $10,000 or else it wasnt going to happen. Miles Davis told douglas "Come on , man you know he has it." This has been documented and I believe I read it in the Eddie Kramer book.

Needless to say that the jam never happened. But something resembling it took place and is called Doriella du Fontaine.

It has Hendrix jamming on a a rap song would you believe? Maybe the FIRST rap song?
