It's expected. I had absolutely no problem with it. They just don't want you bringing them in by the truckload.

It is contra-ban. You are importing goods manufactured to replicate an existing USA copyright.

They can take the goods. They can fine you. But, worst of all they can note your passport and everytime you come into US Customs can delay you search you private goods and all suitcases.

If customs stops you, the handbag can be confiscated. you wont get it back.
