I have written a book, and it is in production with a publisher as we speak. It's called On the Banks of the Ohio and is about a young lady that ends up in an abusive relationship.
I am working on my next one right now as well.

Written, yes. Published, no. I've got 3 novel-length manuscripts completed. It's a multi-generational historic series a la John Jakes' "Kent Family Chronicles" or Elswyth Thane's Williamsburg series.
I am looking into self-publishing, but since my daughter is just starting college, I'm probably going to have a few years before I can get the first run.
Like all aspiring writers, I'll just claim that it's all about the "process" and I don't really care if I ever get published. (No, really! I mean it!)
Oh ... something I picked up from consulting with the firm with which I'll eventually self-publish ... to find out how many pages your story would be in standard paperback form, divide the total number of words by 320.

I have written four books and am writing the fifth book right now. They are about pirates with plenty of action, drama and humor. I would like to get them published someday, though.

i've got constantly had to a minimum of sooner or later submit some thing. i won't be in a position of even say why with the aid of fact i'm no longer even particular why. i all started examining whilst i exchange into six, and located it magical. From then on, I knew that's what i had to do. I do write for myself. each be conscious and character action is my own, and if i do no longer like it, i do away with it. of direction finally i desire to be a great author for myself ultimate, I do exactly desire to proportion it with the worldwide. My acquaintances and relatives are not incredibly exciting in examining, they could in basic terms study it with the aid of fact this is mine, and not with the aid of fact they chosen it. no count if or no longer I revealed some thing, i could nevertheless be pleased with it. with the aid of fact the two way I placed my heart and soul into it. i'm aggressive. extraordinarily with myself. whilst i be responsive to i will do some thing, I do it. i do no longer in all risk view publishing as a contest, yet extra of a great undertaking. and that i've got challenged myself. i think like with the aid of fact the publishing industry is so aggressive, this is a great honor to be revealed. i want objectives to artwork in the direction of. they commence small. From get the assumption, write the 1st financial disaster, write ten chapters, end the e book, rewrite the e book, edit the e book, rewrite lower back, etc. And in spite of everything that stressful artwork is finished and the e book is as suited as i will make it, it may be the suited next undertaking to bypass the subsequent step and attempt publishing. of direction i do no longer aspire acceptance and fortune, writing not often brings the two. I in basic terms desire to proportion the form of magic that exchange into shared with me when I discovered to study and chanced on what yet another mind's eye ought to teach me.
