This one has been really bugging me singe the influx of clothes with these designs. I toyed with the stripe idea for a bit, I kept getting the sensation that I would be arrested for something, especially combined with the big sack-like handbags that are on the go just now. I settled into subtle stripes in shades of pink which I think just escaped the convict catagory.

Polka dots had me getting excited for a while. I got the shoes and the belt and though I looked quite good, I had an eighties thow back sensation but I got over that quite quick. The really serious thing that bugged me about the polka dots in tops and dresses was that they just screamed maternity. I had hateful flashbacks of my mum wearing something similar during her pregnacy with my brother. The looking like a fat ***** idea kept me safely in the shoe and accessories catagories.

Anyway thats my tuppence. I hope the bring in something a bit better for the Autum

in a game of pool, i always go stripes, because I was once told (in a drunken pub conversation of course) that the striped balls are slightly heavier. probably completely untrue, but I win about 80% of the games I play, and always choose stripes if i can.

White polka dots on navy blue or black will always be a fresh summer classic. Especially with spectator pumps.

Stripes can be hazardous if worn incorrectly, but seem to always look good vertically on a nicely tailored blouse. Liz Claiborne has a pretty line of shirts of that ilk out currently, and they are no-iron, seriously so. They launder so beautifully.
