It is the things that consumers want and need. All consumers need healthcare, money, food, water, clothing, shelter, and to an extent, entertainment and community.
Their wants often encompass their needs, but also extend far beyond them. Such things as computers, TVs, books, cars, the latest shoes, etc. Most industries cater to wants as opposed to needs.
