Make sure you keep tampons/ pads (which ever you prefer) with you at all times (carry them in you r pocketbook). Make sure you wash yourself frequently. Keep some motrin or tylenol with you if you cramp easily. Taking warm showers can help with cramping. Exercise also helps during your period, because as you exercise your muscles in your legs/ arms, blood shunts away from your pelvis, to those muscles. Exercise definantly helps with cramps and bleeding. Make sure you eat a well balanced diet (you will be loosing blood, so you want to make sure you are giving your body back what it's loosing). Also, drink lots of water to replace the fluid lost. Other than tampons/pads and motrin, you shouldn't have to get anything for your period. You will find out what makes you feel better or what helps you when you have your period.

1-sanitary pads.(preferred to be ultra)
2-vaginal douche
also it's preferred if u walk alot during these days.have a shower from time to time.don't worry and live normally.
here are the steps for using pads: IF U'LL SPEND LONG TIME OUTSIDE HOME ,FIX A PAD IN IN THE PANTY TOWARDS THE BACK.AND ANOTHER ONE FIXED TOWARDS THE FRONT .SO THAT A PART FROM THE FIRST ONE IS UNDER A PART FROM THE SECOND ONE.in this way if any leakage hapens from the the front one it'll fall on the one dirested backwards.
try to drink fresh juices.don't worry of the changes u may suffer these days, like 1-increase in weight by 2 kg.
2-backache,stomach ache,pain at your side.
3-flatulance that seems like having a belly
4-being in a very bad mood sometimes
5-having a strange obvious sexual desire which may be before your period by 2 days and extend till the end of ur period
6-stupid acne appears on ur face
and don't touch the acne.u can use some pain relief pills like avil or paracetamol.
don't worry .u'll be fine

Go buy some pads or tampons. I know when I was younger I hated tampons and now thats all that I wear. Make sure you change what ever you use every few hours.

Just wear a pad. I hate that time of the month. It's so annoying. Just get through it and you'll be fine.

Why are you afraid to talk to your mother about this? She can take you to the store and show you whats best. Don't you think that would be better?
