If you want a movie that has a climax see Superman. If you do not care about how the movie ends watch Pirates. < Pirates does not have a climax because it continues in Pirates 3 releasing next summer.>

Personally, I would go the Pirates of the Carribean. I like that movie better than Superman. I haven't seen them either. I heard that Superman was good, but really slow and long whereas I haven't heard anything bad about PoC.

I've got to go with Johnny Depp. I saw Pirates last week and it was as good as I hoped. I'm not much of a superman fan. There was nothing about the movie that makes me want to see it.

Saw Superman, my daughter saw Pirates.
Superman is deeper and more thought-provoking. I felt I was watching something important. We know and love the characters.
Pirates is a heck of a lot of fun with great performances my daughter says. She said there were too many action sequences (like King Kong). We know and love the characters.
Save your pennies and try to see both...

Skip out on Pirates it was horribly dissapointing. I heard Superman was one big love story, so I refuse to see it. Do the right thing go see Clerks 2.

Superman Returns was just OK.
Trust me you will like Pirates 2 alot more.

Superman was great detail and everything was awesome sadly Pirates just kind of drags on and on.
