It would depend on what kind of pet, what color, how old, and the most important thing would be what kind of personality it had. Also I would take into consideration what time of year it was and what the dam and sire's name were. Even what kind of things that are happening around the time I am getting the pet. A pet is very special and so the name should be special also.

Depends on what kind of pet. a horse named Fluffy or a sheep named Spot might not work. I like the names Rocky, Buddy and Gus personally

I name my pets according to their personality...Sugar, cuz she loved to give ya sugars...Buddweiser, cuz he used to drink Buddweiser beer...just watch your pet for about a week or so and then start thinking of names that go along with its personality
