My groomsmen are wearing black suits w/ Kelly Green ties. I'm wearing a black suit as well and debating between either an ivory or silver tie. We're leaning towards the ivory just because we like the look, however there's the school of thought that the bride should be the only one in anything close to white. However, the bride in this case is fine with ivory. The other concern is how well the ivory would show up in black and white pictures. Also we thought that if we went with the silver tie, a nice touch would be to have my mother wear a silver dress.

you can go either way. i would do the ivory.
don't worry about the bride in white tradition. the whole idea is that nobody should be taking away from her. having an ivory tie will hardly compete w/ a gorgeous bridal gown.
just think about all the men who wear tuxes w/ white shirts. they do not out shine the bride. i wouldn't worry about it.

hope this helps!

Silver may be too flashy. Ivory would be fine because it's not white so your bride is still o.k. If your worried about the tie not showing up in the pictures get a good photographer that can choose good lighting for your tie or chnge ties for pictures.

I would say to go with silver. It adds a sophisticated look and goes very well with green. And it seems like you have more problems with going with the ivory tie than the silver one.

i like the ivory tie. silver sounds nice, but don't have your mother wear a silver dress, it's too Las Vegas. i would go with the ivory and get a really good photographer. best wishes and congradulations.

i think the silver, but if you tried both and think the ivory looks best go with it, i don't think it will do anything in the pictures as long as the lighting is good.
but for some reason i think the silver sounds more elegant.

neither, in my opinion. where a unique color, something unexpected. but if you absolutely HAVE to have ivory or silver, go with silver. but i really think you should learn to make decisions like this for yourself, instead of asking people you don't know.

you're able to desire to circulate with a pair of lighter colored gray pants, on the component to the colour of your tie, or in simple terms circulate with black. it quite is not user-friendly to verify distinctive colors of black, in spite of the shown fact that curiously hott with a guy wearing all black with something like a silver tie to throw it off!
