its hard to say because through all those times unless you were royalty or from a well off family life was extreamly difficult unlike today where the average person can actually make something of them selves if they try hard enough. I think ill stick with the present. You want the middle ages, whew you know how bad it would be to be tourtured for stealing a potato...lol

I think the late 19th century. I would love to have met the Impressionist painters and seen Paris at that time. I am fascinated by that time period, although the clothing and lack of modern conveniences would be a real pain. It just seems like Paris would have been exciting. Also, San Francisco, where I grew up, looks like it would have been amazing and, of course, New York.

I would have said the Civil War but when I reflect on the many improvements in daily living since then, I would have to say now.

To be successful in the 30's. No competition from women or minorities. Good music. Great cars. None of this computer and cell phone crap. No eminent world threats. USA was king. 150 million less people. Inventions were fresh.

Wow that's a good question. Me being a black woman, none of those eras would be benificial. I would like to have been an adult by the time the 70's rolled around.

I think perhaps I could be interested in the Egyptian culture when the Pyramids, and their other fascinating structures were built. It would be an absolute joy to watch the building develop.

I like living right now - I'm very comfortable with modern technology, I like being clean and germ-free and using computers and all that. I also like being respected as a woman.
