My last period was sometime either mid june or end of june. July 23rd I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive. I had mild cramping like my period was going to start for a week or so before I took the test.

July 24th I experienced more cramping and then suddenly I felt a gush and ran to the bathroom. There was a decent amount of bright red blood, even after wiping it continued to drip into the toilet.

It stopped, and then started again two more times within an hour. I put a pad in over night and it still happened over night, maybe once more. Now it is coming out brown.

I'm still cramping, and I believe I'm about 3-5 weeks pregnant.

My period cramps have normally been aweful in the past, so I dont know if these are considered bad or not, they are slightly below my regular period cramp intensity.

How much blood is considered normal? And does implantation bleeding happen during the 3-5th week?

The blood comes out with little flecks of either tissue or clots.

This would NOT be the cause of implantation bleeding. That is only a small spot of blood that is usually mixed with mucus. What you are experiencing is not healthy or normal. This can be a serious medical problem. You need to contact a health care professional as soon as possible. The cramping is normal from you uterus stretching and growing. The blood is not normal and is very dangerous. This could be a course of a ruptured Fallopian tube due to an ectopic pregnancy. This could also be a miscarriage. No matter what it is, you need to seek medical attention immediately. This is your child's life and your own at risk.

If it does turn out that you have miscarried, please don't blame yourself. This happens to a lot of women and it is very common. It's still very sad though. It's happened to me as well.

Good luck with everything.

You should go see the doctor. The last time that I was pregnant, I kept feeling like my period was going to start as well and was lightly spotting. I went to the doctor and they did a ultrasound. I cant remember exactly what they told me, but there was something wrong with the pregnancy so my body was taking care of it. I was scheduled for a dnc so that I would not have to go through the pain of miscarriage, but I did miscarry the night before my appointment. You should get it checked out soon. If you can help it you really don't want to go through a miscarriage It is horrible!! Then again some women do bleed during their pregnancies, but the clots and tissue do not sound good.

I am sorry to say things don't look good. Implantation bleeding is usually not that heavy...but the cramping is a sure sign that something is wrong. There is no actual number for early miscarriages because so many happen before the mother even knows she is pregnant, but with modern "early" pregnancy testing the numbers are increasing. Even pregnancy testing now with a home test may not be accurate because it takes some time for the body to expel all the pregnancy hormone. I say get to the Dr right away. If you have micarried then the Dr needs to make sure that all comes out on it's own. Sorry and good luck.

This just happened to me in June as well, same thing. I was about 7 weeks pregnant and started spotting, then it gradually got heavier. While spotting could be considered normal, due to implantation..usually its only slight, and if you have cramping, its not a good sign. If there is clots also, that isn't a good sign. Best thing to do would be to see your doctor. If you have miscarried, the tests would still come back positive for awhile. I hope you haven't..its very sad (this was my 3rd miscarriage). Good luck to you, I hope all is well.

Your best bet would be to go to your doctor and find out. Spotting throughout a pregnancy is normal. Blood clots are not. No implantation bleeds do not come at the 3-5 week time frame. If you really are worried go to the doctor.. NOT YAHOO ANSWERS!! The people are here are NOT doctors and can not see you!!!

It sounds like a miscarriage honey. I'm sorry, I have had 3 myself. Most miscarriages occur in the first trimester between the 3rd and 12th week. Many women have miscarriages in this time without ever knowing they were pregnant. I would go see your GYN, to make sure all the tissues have come out like they are supposed to. If you can't afford one, go to planned parenthood, they can help get you the help you need. And please remember, if you had gone to the ER right away, they would have done NOTHING to PREVENT your misscarriage this soon in your pregnancy. Only provided you with medication for the pain and assist in the expulsion. Bring as much of the tissue to the doctor as possible, they may want to do testing, particulary any greyish tissue.

One of the drawbacks of home pregnancy tests is that they can detect the HCG levels before a potential pregnancy is a REAL pregnancy. At least 25% of fertilized eggs don't implant, or miscarry naturally shortly after.

There is something called a "blighted ovum." It's not really a pregnancy, just a false start of one.

NAture often knows what's best.

As the other answers said, get to the doctor.

This can be emotional, though, be gentle with yourself.

You need to get to your OB right away. They can give you an early ultra-sound and check you out. You seem to have the signs of a miscarrgiage, and I am so sorry. I've been thru this twice and it is a hard thing. If you start bleeding and soak a pad thru in an hour, get the the doctor or hospital right away, because you can bleed to death. Good luck with all.

When i used to be pregnant and recognizing.I had a closed cervix and was once instructed i could no longer misscarriage.I had no pink blood or clots or cramps for approximately a million week of recognizing. Then within the area of approximately half-hour the cramps began then the clots, then i miscarried. It particularly is to tough to mention both approach, however a few men and women bleed and don't have any issues in any respect. Itseems theres no method to no, a few men and women don't have any blood or discomfort and miscarry, others cramp with blood and dont. Relax as nice you'll be able to and document anychanges in your general practitioner.
