The problem with welfare is that as a system it is broken, and designed to cater to the lowest common element. The goal of welfare is to keep people enslaved to the government. That is why the democrats, the party of segregation, slavery, the KKK, created welfare.

Welfare can work, however, when it does not punish people who get a job right off of welfare, but are not making enough to break the culture of poverty. Women get more money single than they do married, so welfare breaks the black home apart and has for the last 50+ years.

We need welfare overhaul that does not create a culture of dependence, which our current system does. The simple solution to welfare is that you get one years worth of welfare to get your act together. If you want to get another year, after failing to get off your lazy *** and get a job, then you loose your kids. After a year without kids, if you still do not have a job, you loose all your benefits and go get to live with the rest of the bums.

For those that are honest, you make it simple. Within one year of no longer receiving government welfare checks, you are required to pay the welfare money back at 1% interest, on a 15 year note. Cheap payments give money back that your fellow Americans loaned you, and make you a responsible citizen.

Nothing wrong with cutting work training programs....because we have too many of them. Way to many programs and too many bureaucracies. It would be better to coalace them all into one buireaucracy. people would be helped more, fraud would go down, and it would be cheaper for the tax payer.

We would like to see everyone succeed, but they have to want it also. This is not a Fox News talking point, I have family on welfare, they are stuck in a never ending mess.
