Real Madrid have a very good chance of winning it this year after signing Cannavaro and Emerson from Juve. Previously Real's defence was the reason why they couldn't progress far - they may score a lot but conceded more!
Shoring up their defence with, of all defenders, Cannavaro ought to do the trick.

one thing is sure.. there would be no Italian strong competitors this year :( maybe Inter Milan will do something, but i doubt they can compete at the level of Barça or Chelsea or even Real Madrid...

Barca - they have the players to win it again. but do not rule out chelsea.
