I depends on how disruptive they are. I once reminded a couple of boys (politely) that they could have had their conversation for free in the parking lot. They were quiet after that.

Glare, complain, move, swear I will only rent videos from now on. Worse are popcorn eaters who crunch before they have closed their amplifier mouths. The only way to eat popcorn with good manners is one piece at a time. Close mouth before engaging popped kernel. Talkers, shame on you. Just do not talk at all in a movie that I have paid to see without your input.

If it's someone I'm with, I will ask them to be quiet right away.
If it's a stranger, then I'll let it go for a bit, but if they are anywhere close to me, I'll give them a "Shhhhhhh" after a few minutes.
If they keep talking after that, there's not much I can do. I usually give them a dirty look on the way out of the theater, though, and make sure they hear me talking to my friends about how rude they were.

you beat the **** out of them and if that doesn't work contact the manager. The manager should handle the problems. If everything works out right you should be able to get another movie ticket for free by the manager. I did when i went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

It depends on how loud they're talking...because I'm a horrible talker during movies myself...

If they are really disruptive I go and tell the Manager. Otherwise I just give them a really dirty look and make sure they hear me complain about rude they were.

I like throwing things @ them, if they are in front of me... If not,
I tell them to shut the freak up!
If they still keep yappin, REPORT them to the manager!
