No! Alberta winters are so unpredictable. One day it's a Chinook and then the next it's -40 thanks to a brutal windchill and the next day 3 feet of snow! No thank you!

I'm originally from Michigan.
living in the Souith now.
People here have no clue
what winter really is.
Just at the thought of snow,
schools close, milk, bread and
batteries diappear from shelves,
and generators come out
of the storage buildings.
All this, and we get about...
mmm...two or three inches
that usually melts the next day.
I do not look forward to all the
hullabaloo that occurs here
during the winter time!

No. Even though the winter of 2005 - 2006 was the mildest and driest in recorded history (in New Brunswick).....it's still winter.
I *am* looking forward to the Thanksgiving weekend, however.....because that's the end of the season at work, and i'll be able to catch up on all the sleeping, eating, and slothing around i have been missing since May.
I hope you'll still be around here in the fall.....because i suspect i'll be spending a fair bit of time here.
(Unless it continues to deteriorate at the current rate, that is.....)

The only reason I am even remotely looking forward to it is because after winter comes spring and good things will happen then =)

I always look forward to winter in the summer and look forward to summer in the winter im just wierd like that i guess

no i am never happy about winter the only thing good about the whole season is christmas! I put my tree up the week of nov 18, lol, cause thats my b-day, and when the tree goes up it brings more peace to the house. I can't believe school starts in 4 weeks. I like my daughter home :(

i'm soooooo looking forward to winter again. those nice cold months when you just sit home watching television looking out the window as it snows. i love the cold. i can always dress warmer in the winter but i can't get cool enough in the summer.

Yes............... I love winter time........ I hate the HOT heat, that feels like it is burning you the second you walk out in it.... And I hate to sweat unless it is because I am having W I L D sex, or working out really hard at the gym.... Winter makes for much better times by the fire place all cozy and warm but not boiling...... Just right....... ♥

I'm not a big fan of winter,too darned cold up here and I hate to plow snow every day,but I am looking forward to next spring.Getting married! :) Peace....
