My wife and I are leaving for our vacation on the 4th of August and we're leaving our son at home. My wife works out of the house and so she's around to cook all the meals every day so we're not used to having to buy frozen meals. We're only going to be gone for 2 weeks so we'll need about 15 different meals that are easy enough for our 5 year old to make in the microwave. Is there anyone with kids who can give us a good list of foods like these that they've tried?

I wouldn't worry about it. As long as he has enough water, he can easily go two weeks without food before starving to death. So just get one of those self-watering dog dishes, and you should be OK. Oh, and if you feel like splurging, they also make a dog dish that food on an automatic timer. You could fill it with Cocoa Puffs or something.
you're not funny by the way.

I think Swanson's makes a whole line. Generally, I found turkey and vegetables the easiest and tastiest. Beef and chicken based meals sometimes don't do well when micro'd.

If you are into ethnic food, I also found Indian ready-to-eat platters (you can get them at any Indian grocery shop) good and spicy. Don't know that kids like them, though.
