I just started using Certain Dri a couple of days ago. I apply it at night like the directions say to do, but man! This stuff burns bad. Has anyone else experienced this? It's like I've got 3rd degree burns under my pits and I couldn't even shave them this morning because they hurt so badly. The directions say to use "sparingly," but I'm big on over-applying everything and slosh it on in about 4-5 strokes. Too much? Any feedback would be appreciated. This stuff does stop the sweating, but if I can't even shave my pits because they're so badly burned, I think I'd rather be sweaty and stinky. I'd hate to give up on it so soon, though.

When I started using Certain Dri it burned alot, when i asked my doctor he said that the first week or so will burn because your skin is reacting. Also, dont put it on so much if your putting 4-5 strokes only use it every other day to every 2 days. And try shaving before you put it on, that way it wont burn when you try to shave the next day. In the end the non-sweating is worth it

i take advantage of specific dri interior the summertime, for the comparable motives. It did itch and burn, yet I re-examine the instructions; it does say to place it on at night, so it has all night to paintings. in spite of the shown fact that it additionally says to not placed it on after showering, too. i assumed possibly my bathe/shave blend grew to become into the reason, so i began showering interior the morning. Then I certainly have all day to allow my pores and skin heal from shaving. Then I placed it on at night, and that i did not word it practically as undesirable. After some week it began to get to the place i did not word it. attempt that way. If that facilitates, yet nevertheless bothers her, possibly attempt the different day. of direction, the itch/burn is occurring decrease than the exterior, interior the sweat glands- the stuff shrinks and closes them. So scratching etc. won't help. by using the way, those days I ran out of specific Dri, and had to get something else, and have been given secret medical potential. (I had my doubts, yet I figured damp grew to become into greater effective than pungent, u comprehend?) in spite of the shown fact that it quite does an excellent interest, regardless of if I by twist of fate bypass an afternoon. and that i admire the "gentle and clean" scent.

You may be allergic to it, I have trouble using certain deodorants. I have tried all kinds and dove has worked the best for me. Try applying deodorant at night and wash your armpit area with warm soapy antibacterial soap. If the rash persists try gold bond powder to ease the itchyness or redness.

i know some people who have tried certain dri, and they said it does burn....i don't have any experience with it, but i know you don't have to use it everyday (since its so strong) and you probably are overapplying it...just try a swipe or two and see if it helps...for now, soothe the burns with aloe vera or something like that and don't use the certain dri before your armpits heal
