well i agree i think it is wrong to send "poor people" to the war. here is an idea, why not pay them more for there job. i know a soldier does more work in half a day then any civilian in a day, without complaining and i guess the armed forces do they job well since we haven't had another 9/11 since 2001. but i guess since 9/11 was almost 5 years ago and most of this country has ADD we just should forget the reason why we went there the first place. patriotic all the way. man what is wrong with you??

I always thought that flag colors don't match my wardrobe choices.
A country's flag is like a religious icon: some respect and revere it because of its symbolism while others desecrate it. Both groups have the right to do so. Part of being an intelligent human being and a civilized member of society is to be a patriot and tolerate unpatriotic acts without getting all huffy and violent about it.
In short, to lead a life of tolerance.

Is it better to be an isolationist.
How many people have to die before you think someone should act? Oh I forgot you slaughtered all those Indians, Oh and those dirty Johnny Rebs. Oh hell I guess that means an awful lot huh?
Of course all those people that died in 9/11 don't count do they?
Course you watched Europe suffer in World War II staying very isolationist until America was threatened. Then of course you boasted you had stepped in to save the world! Hallelujah!! Unfortunately, had America entered the war sooner Germany would probably have stopped saving countless thousands if not millions of lives.
You stay safe at home!!

Wrapping oneself in a national flag is not patriotism but pathetic and disrespect! Sending people off to war, as America does in Iraw, Afghanistan and other places, is cruel!

We do not have a military draft, so all of our soldiers are willing, fighting men and women who risk their lives so that you can ask such a stupid, loaded question. They swear an oath to the flag and the Commander-In-Chief because they love America and will fight to defend it from the ever-growing world-wide threat of Muslim extremist terrorism. Unless you are Muslim, they want you dead! And you have the nerve to question the value of patriotism and the need to fight terrorism. Bush is right. The soldiers are brave. You are a cowardly, narrow-minded woosie!

Alas, you have proved yourself an idiot!
People who volunteer for the military know that their life could be taken.
Now, how about those poor idiots asking stupid questions like this one.
Why didn't you ask about those "poor people" in Iraq that want freedom and democracy? Stop being a pawn for the left-wingers and do your research.

When you are sitting in a high position behind a nice desk with dozens of body guards and a nice salary its easy to make snap decisions. When you know you can start a war but let other people fight it for you while you stay at home its even easier. All in the name of 'freedom' pffft.

While your question irritates me to the very core. I will try to be tolerant and tell you as so many others have that we have an ALL VOLUNTEER MILITARY. And I thought we had a military to protect our country from things like, oh say, terrorist attacks that kill 2800 people? How about not letting it happen again? And since unlike YOU I have been to Iraq, let me tell you about all of the poor people there who are so happy that they cry that they can now say the very things about their country and government that you take for granted.
In closing let me say one thing to you son.
REINSTITUTE THE DRAFT!!!!!!!!!!!!
