A possible cause is Vitamin B deficiency. Get a multi B capsule, cut it open, pour the contents into some milk and stir it up. Pour it into a baby's bottle, top it up and warm it up. Don't worry if it doesn't all mix, there'll be more than enough for a baby.
Also one capsule, while an adult dose, won't overdose the baby (you can overdose on Vit A, D and possibly B17, but not on the normal suite of B vitamins). Excess B vitamins will be urinated out.
If baby drinks it all down and goes to sleep then s/he's probably on the mend, and should be completely better in about 36 hours. Repeat the B vitamin once a day until normal motions have resumed.
If s/he doesn't get better quickly then you must take her to a doctor.
Finally, babys should be breast fed for at least 12 months (longer is OK), and should never be given cows milk or formula. Because you have weaned the baby before 6 months I assume that you have a problem breast feeding. If this is the case then you should find a supplier of quality goats milk, this is closer to the consistency of human milk.
The reference below is a must-have for parents and intending parents.

You will need to touch base w/ your pediatrician. That doesn't sound healthy for baby. It could be that he/she is allergic to milk. Call you peditrician office and see if they can start him w/ isomil /soy it will work. Is you baby in Infamil? Is she/he is then this happens alot to baby's that are in infamil. They get alot of diarhea and stomach problems along w/ acid reflex issues. I went through this with both of my kids. Don't know why? But, I don't trust infamil products. Try "Similac Advance Isomil" it
works better than Infamil. Don't let your peditrician tell you is the same because is NOT! Good Luck and I hope the baby feels better....

Not normal. Probably not milk allergy. A lot of times the fornula doesn't agree with the digestive system. You should see your pediatritian. Babies that age can become dehydrated very quickly from diarrhea and that can be life threatening. If it is only mild diarrhea and not constant maybe just keep some pedialyte handy and have him/her drink it whenever s/he appears to be loosing fluid in the stool.

If your baby has about 5 poopy dappers then it's diarrhea and you should consult the baby's doctor. my daughter had it a few months ago they told me to give her pedialite or Gatorade and don't dilute it. They also said not to give her milk for 24hours but since I breastfeed that was a problem but if you do formula don't give it to him/her for 24 hours and push the ped.or gat. on him.But call the doctor before you do anything. Oh and make sure there are still plenty of wet diapers and wet tears. if there aren't wet diapers and a dry cry go to the doctor. That means that your baby is dehydrated. Good luck

Diarrhea is very dangerous for a
3 month old. Don't analyze, get to a doctor immediately.
Unclean bottles, and conditions could account for some, sterile conditions must be complied with for newborns up to 6 months. If you continue to treat your child as if he is not important enough to see a physician, then I feel sad for baby. Please take care. My 2 month old was crying with cramps, and that was a milk allergy so dr put him on soy milk.

Sounds like she may be cutting teeth. Diarrhea, for days on end, is a sign of teething. When my baby started, at four months, she pooped non-stop for 11 days. My doc said "No baby wipes, just wet a soft paper towel to wipe her bottom and keep feeding her." You may also want to get some Triple Paste (available behind the counter at the pharmacy. You have to ask for it, but you don't need a prescription) or Lotrimin for diaper rash.

If it's actually diarrhea and they've had it for a week take them to the doctor. It could be a milk allergy. Are you giving them actual milk or formula? Any Change in formula lately?? If you just changed formula, switch back to the old one, they may be allergic to the new one. If you're giving actual milk, stop. It's too hard for their stocmach to digest. They shouldn't have milk until they are at least 1.

how long on isomil df? My daughter was on it for like a month...after that she began getting constipated and i put her back on isomil...if the isomil df is not working you may want to try enfamil nutramagin (sp) it's for babies that are allergic to milk and soy. you may also need a new pediatrician...if you are worried about your baby they should be also.

that is not normal. change doctors! my son had a lot of problems with allergies and he was allergic to milk, and soy... he had diarrhea with both. now he is on ellecare formula (by dr prescription only) it is hypoallergenic. your child may not end up needing it... soy may do the trick, but I would go see a pediatric gastrointerologist, and see what is going on. My son also had severe acid reflux disease.
the ellecare is 52 dollars a can, but for him its worth it

Have you changed your babies diet, or your diet if breast fed. As in adults if it is milk allergies your baby would probably have stomach or intestinal discomfort. You really should ask you babies doctor. A 3 month old may easily get dehydrated with continued diarrhea.
