Well i'm not even old enough to work yet, but i'm old enough to think and boy does my mind wonder. So then let's move on, I was watching Next i think it was called, and another show about dating. In both show one person dates multiple partners at the same time. One of the shows actually had a person who was already dating someone going out with others to see if she would leave him or stay with him. Weird very weird.... call me crazy but don't these shows send a "message" that dating multiple partners is perfectly ok. Why then won't they be censored or banned because of that fact. They were quick to sensor and/or ban Ren & Stimpy and Beavis and Butthead but not these shows. Ok so we ban cartoons that promote some sort of violence, sex what have you but we leave shows with actual humans in it promoting multiple partners alone. I'm not grasping the concept, help?

Cartoons and comedy have always frightened the 'powers that be'They can be satirised made articles of fun and absurdity, People see it and laugh! theyve always tryed to get these things banned!..I have a theory..If Mel brooks, who satirises nazis unmercifully had been around in 1934 and done then, what he does to the nazi's now! People would have seen the nazi's for what they really were! Figures of strutting stupidity and prancing absurditys hitler heiling each other all over the place, and goose stepping face first into walls!..They probably wouldnt have come to power because of that! People would have been awake to them!

I haven't seen the show you are talking about, but from what it sounds like its another one of those reality shows. Unfortunately reality today sucks. There are so many people out there dating and being unfaithful. But a show like that really brings home the fact that its becoming more and more acceptable and likely that this will happen to anyone. Its really a shame to promote such a lifestyle, yet it may be an eyeopener to many naive people. Its happening , yes, more than you would expect or care to acknowledge. Is it a good thing? Not in my opinion...especially when discretion is not on the agenda. It is true that when you are single and hoping to find a mate..it is more and more difficult to find the 'right' one and it takes alot of searching and test driving to get what you want. Expectations are high, and meeting those can pose a great problem for many people. But I still agree that flaunting promiscuity on television is not entertainment for youngsters for fear they will automatically assume this is the way adult life is. Hopefully we can still instill morals in our youth and help them find happiness without resorting to this kind of behaviour. They will undoubtedly have their turn in adulthood to do the search they need for the appropriate mate...let them do it if necessary when the time comes...not now on TV.

i think it's because cartoons are generally aimed at children and that's where the protection instinct kicks in. everyone wants to protect kids from being exposed to sex and violence. but the flaw, as you discovered, is that you need only change the channel and there's all the sex and violence you can ask for. the adult shows aren't censored because adults are supposed to be able to make intelligent decisions for themselves (ha!). also parents are supposed to ban their children from watching these shows but we all know how that works out. it's nice to see you're thinking about these things critically. keep it up!

Dating multiple partners IS ok; specifically, dating is "an engagement to go out socially with another person, often of romantic interest".

Parents are suppsed to know what their kids are watching. Cartoons sound safe and when they are not ot is scary, so they get moved.
Stop watching those stupid shows, and if you do watch them anyway discuss them with your parents.
These shows report on what is happening out there. It is up to you to decide if it is good or bad.

Pot stirrers- there are people who need to moan and whine and lament over something. When there isn't a real injustice to moan and groan over then they have to dig deep.
